Enjoy three full days of cycling along this grand loop route of Northern Illinois. The Metric Tour averages 65 miles per day (73:51:72).      The tour begins and ends at the Wild West Town in Union, Illinois.

This tour passes through endless farms, the Illinois River Valley and Starved Rock State Park on some of the quietest roads in Northern Illinois with overnight stops in Ottawa and Mendota. 



           RIDE TO THE MISSISSIPPI And Back! : SEPTEMBER 14 - SEPTEMBER 16  ;  Pace 13-15 mph

This 3-day tour will head west across rolling Illinois farmland toward the mighty Mississippi River(The gateway to the West). On day 2 we'll cross the river and cycle about 20 miles in Iowa before crossing back into Illinois near Savana. This tour begins and ends at the Wild West Town in Union, Illinois. Overnight stops will be in Rock Falls and Freeport. Daily mileage is (90:90:80) 260 miles.



                                                                                   2012 WISCONSIN TOURS


          SOUTHERN WISCONSIN METRIC TOUR : SEPTEMBER 21 - SEPTEMBER 23  ;  Pace 13-15 mph
        (Regular Cost $469.00 ; CURRENT SPECIAL : JUST $369.00)


This route is fairly flat except for the climb up Deerpass Road (one of the highest points in the area) on the morning of Day 1. Our route will alternate through open rolling hills and pockets of thick forest. Enjoy lunch on Day 2 next to Gibbs Lake nicely nestled in a wooded area offering lots of shade. The scenic views continue on Day 3 as we wind east and then south back to our starting point.

The Metric Tour averages 65 miles per day (69:66:61) with overnight stops in Fort Atkinson and Beloit. This tour also begins and ends at the Wild West Town in Union, Illinois.
