This 12 day tour around Lake Michigan begins and ends in Algonquin, Illinois. Day 1 will take us through Northern Illinois on our way up into Wisconsin before the day is done. Beautiful farmland, rolling hills and valleys dotted with blue lakes will mark our passage through Wisconsin. Our route follows the southern coast of Upper Michigan on days five and six. On day seven we will cross the Mackinaw Bridge which spans the confluence of Lake Michigan and Lake Huron and enter Lower Michigan. We will then spend several days heading south through this state taking in its scenic views before swinging briefly into NW Indiana and back into Illinois.
